Despite her interest in makeup and skincare products, her favourite remains her grandmother's basic skincare routine. The ingredients included yoghurt, turmeric, chickpea flour and honey. "It could be easily prepared at our home only," she said.
The routine includes keeping the mask for 15-20 minutes and washing it off.

"Made my skin look brighter almost immediately," she had said.
She keeps her routine simple: hydrate well, cleanse, tone and moisturise.
Chickpea flour as a beauty ingredient
Traditionally, chickpea flour has been used as a beauty ingredient. It is used for its deep cleansing, skin brightening properties, oil control, and gentle exfoliation. It is also said to have properties that help in reducing acne and fading dark spots. It is mixed with milk, water, and yoghurt as well.
It is considered one of the best DIY face masks for skin.
Along with chickpea flour, yoghurt, honey and turmeric also help in skin cleansing. Studies show that yoghurt mix helps in keeping the moisture. Turmeric's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties also have benefits for the skin. It helps to improve the uneven tone of the skin.
