The United States President Donald Trump's latest appearance with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at his Mar-a-Lago residence sparked an online buzz with many pointing out his 'painted hands'.

The pictures taken ahead of the duo's meeting, to discuss a 20-point plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war, revealed a discolouration on Trump's right hand. The US president's hand appeared heavily made up, drawing attention to it and sparking speculations about his health.

Earlier, Trump was seen with bandages covering up the bruises on his hand, sparking discussions. The White House dismissed the speculations, saying that the bruising was due to "constant" handshaking.

Social media was rife with comments over Trump's hand, with many raising concerns about his health, while the rest joked about using mismatched concealer.

"He's a demogorgon; Trump must have easy access to the Upside Down. He escapes through that hole. You do know that the word Trump translates to Vecna?" said one user.

"Trump's black hand is painted up today," commented one X user.

"It looks like Donald Trump looked completely rough today -- note that both of his hands are discoloured!" said another user.

"You can clearly see the bruising on Trump's left hand here, as well as the makeup that covers the bruising on his right hand. Will the White House try to tell us that's from "shaking a lot of hands" too?" commented another user on X.

When questions were raised on his bruising, Dr Sean Barbabella, Trump's doctor, attributed it to "minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking," and further added that he remains in "excellent health".
