A six-step water routine is what actress Rakul Preet Singh follows religiously for good health and a fit body, apart from the daily workouts and disciplined diet. 

In an interview with Humans of Bombay, she gave a detailed insight into the water routine and also mentioned how she was a strong believer of Ayurveda. 

“I have a six-step water routine, but I also alternate when I can't. Then, I alternate between saunf water and turmeric water. The first glass is normal water, followed by sipping, then celtic salt water, and then one more saunf pani or something, and finally my ghee coffee," said Rakul Preet. 

The idea behind the water routine is a way to hydrate the body, along with detox and other benefits as well. 

After hydrating the body, she heads straight to her workout routine, followed by her simple breakfast where protein is priortised. She said she prefers simple home cooked Indian meals as a part of her diet. 

"Breakfast is eggs. I love eggs, I can't live without eggs. So eggs and a gluten-free toast or egg and poha. I love poha. I can eat the same food every day. Give me a sabzi, dal, chicken, fish with rice or roti, and simple eggs for breakfast and a repeat of lunch for dinner – and I am good with that," the actress mentioned.
