Suriya-starrer "Scene" collected an estimated ₹20.35 crore net in India across 5,687 shows on Day 2. The Tamil version contributed ₹16.50 crore from 4,324 shows, while the Telugu version added ₹3.85 crore from 1,363 shows. With this, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹39.50 crore, while its domestic gross stands at ₹45.90 crore.

The film also performed strongly overseas, collecting roughly ₹18 crore on its second day. This takes its total overseas gross to ₹35.75 crore. Combining domestic and overseas earnings, "Scene" has recorded an estimated worldwide gross collection of ₹81.65 crore so far, per trade portal Sacnilk.

Audience turnout also improved on Saturday. An estimated 1,498,736 tickets were sold on Day 2, bringing total ticket sales over the first two days to 2,930,230. Overall show occupancy increased from 55% on Day 1 to 62.5% on Day 2, indicating stronger audience interest.

The Tamil version brought in the film's biggest revenue. It has contributed ₹32.65 crore to the total India net collection, accounting for 82.9% of the domestic earnings. The Telugu version has added ₹6.75 crore, making up the remaining 17.1%.

In the Tamil market, the film showed steady growth despite having fewer shows on its second day. According to the reported figures, Tamil net collections rose from around ₹16.15 crore on Day 1 to ₹16.50 crore on Day 2, indicating a 2.2% growth. The number of tracked shows, however, fell from 4,878 to 4,324.

Despite the reduction in shows, average occupancy improved from 57.1% to 65.1%. Chennai remained one of the strongest centres, with occupancy rising from 72.3% to 82.5%. Coimbatore also surged from 74% to 81.5%, while Trichy improved from 74.5% to 82%.

Kerala sees sharp Day 2 drop after big Day 1 opening

While "Scene" recorded overall growth across India, Kerala witnessed a noticeable decline on Day 2. Reported figures show the film's Kerala gross collection dropped from ₹5.75 crore on the opening day to ₹2.85 crore on Saturday, a fall of around 50.4%.

The decline appears to be linked to the unusually strong opening-day rush. The film benefited from considerable local interest surrounding Malayalam actor Naslen, actress Nazriya and director Jithu Madhavan ("Romancham", "Aavesham"). After the initial fan-driven excitement settled, collections became more regular.

However, the second-day figure remains impressive for a Tamil film in Kerala. At ₹2.85 crore, "Scene" earned more on Saturday than both "Karuppu" and "Vishwanath & Sons". The former collected ₹1.40 crore, while the latter earned ₹1.75 crore in the state on the same day.

In fact, the Kerala collection of ₹2.85 crore was close to the combined total of the other two films, which stood at ₹3.15 crore.
