It is also the second-highest-grossing Indian film of 2026, behind "Dhurandhar: The Revenge".
In India, "Jailer 2" has crossed the ₹500 crore gross mark faster than any previous Tamil film. It now ranks second among the highest-grossing Tamil films in the domestic market, behind "2.0", which collected around ₹519.65 crore. "Jailer 2" is expected to cross this number within the month.
