'Jailer 2' is on a strong box office run with no signs of slowing, as suggested by the two-digit figures earned on Day 9, the day which marked the beginning of its second-week theatrical run. It earned an estimated ₹628.05 crore worldwide by Day 9.
According to figures tracked by Sacnilk, the film collected ₹14.50 crore in India on its ninth day across 10,484 shows. The sequel has also moved ahead of the lifetime worldwide collection of the original "Jailer" (2023) in just eight days, marking another major milestone for the film. The first film's lifetime total was capped at approximately ₹604.74 crore.
The Tamil version remained the biggest contributor to the film's domestic earnings, accounting for around 64.5% of its Day 9 India net collection. It earned ₹9.35 crore from 4,885 shows.
The Telugu version collected ₹3 crore from 1,787 shows, while the Hindi version earned ₹1.75 crore from 3,624 shows. The Kannada version added ₹40 lakh from 188 shows.
Although the Hindi version earned less than the Tamil and Telugu versions on Day 9, its performance has helped the sequel reach a wider audience across India. The Kannada version also recorded the highest average revenue per show, at approximately ₹21,277.
By the end of Day 9, "Jailer 2" had netted ₹348.85 crore and grossed ₹408.55 crore in India. Its overseas gross collection reached ₹219.50 crore, including an estimated ₹5 crore earned overseas on Day 9. Together, these figures brought the film's worldwide gross collection to ₹628.05 crore. The strong overseas performance helped je;edtjoaaa this milestone so quickly.
The sequel also outperformed the original "Jailer" across all major domestic language markets on Day 9. Its India net collection of ₹14.50 crore was 44.3% higher than the original film's ₹10.05 crore on the same day. The Tamil collection increased by 27.2%, from ₹7.35 crore to ₹9.35 crore. Telugu earnings rose by 30.4%, while Hindi collections jumped from ₹25 lakh to ₹1.75 crore. Kannada earnings also increased significantly, from ₹15 lakh to ₹40 lakh.
