Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic film "Ramayana", starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, has crossed ₹15 crore in global advance sales, according to reported figures as of 11 am IST on October 22, 2026. The film has collected ₹7.08 crore in domestic bookings, showing strong interest ahead of its scheduled release on November 5.
According to Sacnilk’s tracked data, around 1.25 lakh tickets have been sold across 3,707 shows in 115 cities in India. With 14 days remaining before its release, the film is already attracting audiences, particularly in the Hindi-speaking market.
The Hindi version accounts for approximately ₹6.50 crore, or 92 per cent of domestic advance sales. The Kannada version has collected around ₹41.24 lakh. However, bookings haven’t fully opened yet in major southern cities, including Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Wider availability in these markets could further influence domestic sales.
Maharashtra is currently the highest-earning domestic state, with advance bookings worth ₹1.92 crore. Delhi-NCR follows closely, contributing ₹1.78 crore through nearly 23,000 tickets. Mumbai has also recorded strong demand, particularly for premium IMAX screenings. Some prime-time tickets priced as high as ₹2,770 reportedly sold out quickly.
Produced by Namit Malhotra, with Yash involved as co-producer, "Ramayana" is also drawing significant overseas interest. North America is the leading international market in Sacnilk’s regional tracking, with pre-sales reaching $475,000, or approximately ₹4 crore. The United States alone has generated $432,594 across 1,624 shows, with nearly 20,000 tickets sold.
Overall overseas premiere pre-sales have crossed $600,000, equivalent to around ₹5.05 crore, according to Sacnilk data. Separate figures tracked for major international markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, put total international pre-sales at more than $1.3 million, or approximately ₹12.3 crore.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and others, the Nitesh Tiwari-directed film is the biggest upcoming release from India. Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman composed the music.
Its advance-booking performance over the next two weeks will offer a clearer picture of audience demand before it reaches theatres on November 5.
