Rajinikanth's "Jailer 2" has officially entered the ₹400-crore club at the worldwide box office and the ₹ 150-crore club in India after an exceptional extended weekend run. On Day 4, the Nelson Dilipkumar-directed sequel earned a net of ₹55.85 crore from an estimated 15,473 shows globally.

This marks an 18.2% increase relative to the Day 3 (Saturday) net total of ₹47.25 crore.

The all-language net collection comprises ₹39.95 crore from Tamil (8,173 shows), ₹9.50 crore from Telugu (2,234 shows), ₹5.75 crore from Hindi (4,902 shows), and ₹0.65 crore from Kannada (164 shows).

Data tracked by Sacnilk showed the cumulative worldwide gross collection has reached ₹424.25 crore after four days.

The Sun Pictures-backed movie grossed ₹234.25 crore domestically, with net figures registered so far at ₹199.90 crore. The overseas numbers rose to ₹190 crore after Day 4 international earnings totalled ₹40 crore.

At the global all-time Tamil box office, "Jailer 2" has already overtaken Rajinikanth's other biggies such as "Enthiran" and "Kabali", as well as Kamal Haasan's "Vikram" (₹414.43 crore), to reach the #7 spot as of now.

"Jailer 2" now eyes the records broken by Rajinikanth's "Leo", "Jailer 1", "Coolie"; Vijay's "Leo" and "The GOAT"; and Mani Ratnam's "Ponniyin Selvan -1".

"The GOAT", which collected ₹456.60 at the time, is the nearest target for "Jailer 2".

In terms of domestic net, though, "Jailer 2" is fast approaching the Top 5 list. It is yet to catch up to industry hits like "Vikram", "Ponniyin Selvan - 1", "Leo", and Rajinikanth's previous record-busters, "Jailer 1" (₹417.70 crore) and "2.0" (₹519.65 crore).
