Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra announced their second pregnancy on Wednesday through a collaborative Instagram post. Many celebrities reacted to the announcement, expressing their happiness and congratulating the Bollywood couple.
The Shershaah couple shared a picture of tiny knit socks, a fun recreation of their pregnancy announcement post for their first daughter, Sarayaah Malhotra. However, instead of just the couple holding the socks like the first time, the new picture also featured Sarayaah’s baby hands holding the socks along with the couple’s intertwined hands.
“Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude,” read the caption.
Karan Johar, one of the first people to hint at the couple’s relationship on his celebrity talk show Koffee with Karan, commented under the post, “Love, love you.”
The filmmaker is widely known for introducing Kiara to Sidharth in 2018, during the wrap-up party for Kiara’s Lust Stories. Karan has frequently shared the fond relationship he has with the couple, sharing instances where he spotted early signs of the bond between them. They started dating during the shooting of the war drama Shershaah, in which they played Vikran Batra and Dimple Cheema as an on-screen couple.
Karan was a special guest at the couple’s wedding in February 2023, and later shared emotional notes expressing pride in Sidharth, whom he first launched in his film Student of the Year and welcomed Kiara into the family. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Sarayaah, in Mumbai on July 15, 2025.
Kiara’s co-star Kareena Kapoor also commented on the post, saying, “Mommy and Daddy again yayyy.” Other celebrities, including Parineeti Chopra, Manish Malhotra and Ranbir Kapoor, congratulated the couple.
Sidharth was most recently seen in the folk fantasy thriller The Vvaan. Kiara, on the other hand, was seen playing the character of Nadia in the action thriller Toxic, which was released in August.
