Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s "The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest" has maintained a steady run at the box office after its release on September 25, 2026. The folk-thriller collected an estimated ₹3.40 crore net in India on Day 8 from 2,144 shows, taking its total India net collection to ₹57 crore. Its India gross collection now stands at ₹67.74 crore, as per Sacnilk.
The film has also continued to earn from overseas markets. It added around ₹0.50 crore in overseas gross collections on Day 8, taking its overseas total to ₹6 crore. With these figures included, "The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest" has reached a worldwide gross collection of ₹73.74 crore in eight days.
Directed by "Panchayat" fame Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, the film has crossed the ₹50 crore net mark in India as it enters its second weekend. Its opening week ended with an India net collection of ₹53.60 crore, while the Day 8 figures pushed the domestic total further upward.
The film is also significant for Sidharth Malhotra’s recent theatrical career. After eight days, "The Vvaan" has already collected more in India than the lifetime net figures of some of his recent releases, including "Marjaavaan" and "Yodha". "Yodha" ended its domestic run with around ₹33.48 crore net, while "Marjaavaan" finished at approximately ₹48.04 crore.
Sidharth’s earlier films have recorded higher lifetime totals. "Ek Villain" earned around ₹105.76 crore net in India and ₹169.62 crore worldwide, while _Brothers_ collected ₹82.49 crore net domestically and ₹140.30 crore globally. "Kapoor & Sons" finished with approximately ₹73.22 crore net in India and ₹147.94 crore worldwide. "Student of the Year" recorded around ₹70 crore net domestically and ₹109.10 crore worldwide.
At ₹57 crore net in just eight days, "The Vvaan" is therefore moving quickly toward the lifetime figures of some of Sidharth’s earlier films. It has also emerged as an important solo-lead theatrical release for the actor.
The film is also a big achievement for Tamannaah in terms of her solo Hindi lead outings. Her early transitions into mainstream Bollywood featured high-budget duds like "Himmatwala" (2013) and "Humshakals" (2014). "The Vvaan" marks her most successful original Hindi theatrical release as a primary lead in nearly a decade.
The next major test for "The Vvaan" will be the second weekend. With competition from "Drishyam 3: The Conclusion", "The Vvaan" will need to maintain its audience hold if it is to continue its upward trend.
