Parvathy Thiruvothu-starrer “Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar” has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the worldwide box office, a milestone achieved on the 17th day of its theatrical run. The makers announced the feat through social media on Sunday, September 27. Directed by Shahad, this investigative thriller was released on September 11th.
The film features Parvathy as Aleena, a woman who joins the police force on compassionate grounds following the death of her husband. The story follows four low-ranking police officers, including Aleena, who become entangled in a dangerous situation after an unexpected encounter and try to conceal the truth.
According to Sacnilk, “Pradhma Drishtya Kuttakkar” collected an estimated Rs 26.6 crore net in India over 18 days. The film opened with Rs 0.85 crore on its first day and witnessed a substantial surge over the weekend, collecting Rs 2 crore on the first Saturday and Rs 2.6 crore on the first Sunday. Its first-week India net stood at Rs 11.54 crore.
In the second week, the film maintained its theatrical run, as the collections reached Rs 20.44 crore at the end of Day 14. It minted Rs 1.95 crore and Rs 2.5 crore on its second Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
By Day 16, the film had collected Rs 21.89 crore in India net and Rs 25.49 crore in India gross, according to Sacnilk estimate. Currently, the film stands at Rs 26.66 crore in India gross collection and Rs 22.90 crore as India net collection.
With its worldwide gross now above ₹50 crore, “Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar” continues its theatrical run while adding another notable milestone to its box-office journey.
