Vishal Chaturvedi’s Hanuman Ansh, starring Shobinaw Satyaa as spiritual guru Neem Karoli Baba, has officially surpassed the Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups in worldwide collections. The film crossed the global revenue of the much bigger pan-Indian film on its 47th day in theatres, continuing its lucrative run well into its seventh week.

According to Sacnilk, Hanuman Ansh collected ₹4.9 crore net in India on September 22, which marks its 47th day in theatres. This shows an increase from its day 46 collection, which was ₹4.15 crore. Its India gross stands at Rs 331.94 crore, while the net India collection (after tax cuts) is ₹281.13 crore. The film also earned ₹1 crore from its overseas audience on day 47, making the overseas gross ₹34.75 crore. Hence, the worldwide gross, including the India collection, now stands at ₹366.71 crore.

This puts Hanuman Ansh ahead of Toxic, which has an approximate worldwide gross of ₹342.07 crore (exact estimate varies across platforms). Toxic, meanwhile, has collected ₹249.97 crore net in India, with an India gross of ₹298.32 crore and an overseas gross of Rs 43.75 crore.

According to the latest Sacnilk update, Hanuman Ansh has so far earned ₹0.20 crore net in India on Day 48, September 23. The Day 48 collection is still live, and the final figures are yet to be reported.

The film’s run is particularly notable given its modest beginnings and low production budget. It has now evolved into one of the year’s major box-office stories, with its worldwide gross continuing to climb even in its seventh week.
