Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju-starrer "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" has achieved a major box-office milestone, entering the top six highest-grossing Indian films of 2026. By Day 27, the Malayalam film had earned ₹312.40 crore worldwide, surpassing Suriya-starrer "Karuppu" and taking the sixth spot on the list.
At the top of the 2026 chart is "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" with ₹1,852.44 crore, followed by "Border 2" at ₹464.50 crore. "Toxic" stands at ₹340.43 crore, while "Peddi" and "Jana Nayagan" have earned approximately ₹330–336.85 crore and ₹320–325 crore, respectively. "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" follows with ₹312.40 crore, while "Karuppu" is currently in seventh place with ₹310–315 crore.
On Day 27 alone, "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" collected ₹1.25 crore net in India from 1,413 shows. Its total India gross has now reached ₹176.50 crore, while its India net stands at ₹151.15 crore. The film also earned ₹0.40 crore overseas on Day 27, taking its total overseas gross to ₹135.90 crore. Together, these figures have pushed its worldwide gross to ₹312.40 crore.
The film has also recorded a strong run in Kerala. It has grossed ₹142.73 crore in the state, placing it alongside the biggest Malayalam theatrical successes in Kerala. On Day 24, "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" achieved its biggest milestone by surpassing the reported lifetime worldwide gross of "Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra", which finished at ₹301.41 crore.
The film overtook "Karuppu" on its 26th day, when its worldwide total reached ₹310.55 crore. However, "Karuppu" remains ahead in India, with an India net of ₹198.18 crore compared with the ₹151.15 crore net of "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit". The Malayalam film's higher overseas earnings — ₹135.90 crore against ₹81.15 crore collected by "Karuppu" — are what put it ahead in the worldwide rankings.
