Makers of Prabhas-fronted pan-India epic action drama "Fauzi" officially announced the release date on Thursday. The Hanu Raghavapudi directorial will hit theatres worldwide on December 3, 2026. Prabhas and Raghavapudi also shared an intense new poster to announce the date. The first look teaser is expected on August 15, 2026.

Reportedly set against the backdrop of the 1940s British Raj and World War II, the film revolves around the Azad Hind Fauj. Prabhas essays a fierce army officer described as a "one-man battalion".

Debutant Imanvi is the female lead, alongside veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher. Sajjad Delafrooz is likely playing the antagonist.
Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series, the movie is said to have cost a massive Rs 600 to Rs 700 crore budget (estimated). The plans are also supposedly on to expand "Fauzi" into a two-part epic, with the second part serving as a prequel.

Aside from "Fauzi", Prabhas has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Spirit", in which he plays a fierce, intense police officer, lined up next. Triptii Dimri is playing the female lead. Filming schedules are currently progressing in Hyderabad. The actor also has "Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2", which continues Nag Ashwin's futuristic epic, focusing on Prabhas's character Karna. Alia Bhatt has reportedly joined the stellar returning cast comprising Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.

Also in development for Prabhas is "Salaar: Part 2", director Prashanth Neel's sequel, co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. It is expected to go on floors once Neel wraps up NTR Jr-starrer “Dragon”.
