JioHotstar has announced that the action blockbuster will be premiering on July 17. 2026 (Friday).
JioHotstar will reportedly release the Telugu version first, with the Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada-language versions expected to stream later. Also starring Gulshan Devaiah (as the principal antagonist), Diganth Manchale, and Gauthami, the film was directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy. It features music by Santosh Narayanan.
The movie managed to beat the prior female-led Telugu cinema benchmarks set by Anushka Shetty-starrers "Rudhramadevi" and "Arundhati". In India, the film netted over Rs 60 crores and grossed Rs 69.43 crores. Overseas, it collected an estimated Rs 27+ crores. The movie reportedly recovered its modest production budget within its opening weekend alone, with a Rs 50 crore global total in the first 3 days. It was released in theatres on June 19, 2026. It has a runtime of 154 minutes.
Produced by Samantha under her home banner Tralala Moving Pictures alongside Raj Nidimoru and Himank Reddy Duvvuru, "Maa Inti Bangaaram" was shot by cinematographer Om Prakash and edited by Dharmendra Kakarala. B.V. Nandini Reddy directed the script by Raj Nidimoru, Vasanth Maringanti, and Prahas Boppudi, from a story by Nidimoru.
Samantha and Nidimoru previously worked together in the second season of "Family Man", in which her action-driven role got considerable attention. Nidimoru recently confirmed that the team is aiming for a sequel.
