"Bhooth Bangla" has completed its month-long theatrical run with a cumulative gross of Rs 197.66 crore and a net total of Rs 166.70 crore. Its worldwide total has crossed the Rs 250 crore mark.

The theatrical run of the Akshay Kumar-starrer represents a significant commercial turnaround. The Priyadarshan-directed horror comedy followed a highly lucrative weekend-strong trajectory typical of family-centric comedies, but it got ample support from remarkably resilient weekday footfalls, while showing superb escalating growth over its weekends.

For instance, in its opening weekend, it jumped from a Rs 12.25 crore Friday opening to a peak of Rs 23.00 crore on Sunday. This standard 85–90% weekend expansion repeated across its second weekend (jumping from Rs 5.75 crore on Friday to Rs 12.50 crore on Sunday) and even its fourth weekend (surging 133% from Friday's Rs 1.75 crore to Sunday's Rs 4.00 crore).

Unlike typical biggies that benefit from front-loaded earnings but then crash 60–70% on their first Monday, "Bhooth Bangla" pulled a steady Rs 6.75 crore on Day 4. Remarkably, it experienced a rare 18.5% mid-week bounce on its first Tuesday, hitting Rs 8.00 crore due to strong spot-bookings and night-show occupancies. By its fourth week, it fetched Rs 14.30 crore, proving its exceptional stamina.

As of now, "Bhooth Bangala" is third among the Top 5 list of Akshay Kumar's recent highest-grossing movies, behind "Sooryaavanshi" and "Housefull 5". It completely outperformed his 2024 disasters like "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" and "Sarfira" within its first four days of release. It has also done better than his 2025 courtroom drama "Kesari Chapter 2 and his aerial thriller "Sky Force".

Remarkably, the fourth-week haul of "Bhooth Bangla" is actually higher than the fourth-week performance of "Sooryavanshi" and "OMG 2".

It currently stands as 2026's third highest-grossing Hindi film globally.

Produced on a reported budget of Rs 120 crore, the movie has comfortably generated a substantial return on investment through theatrical business alone, solidifying its hit status.
