So, after some confusion about whether JioHotstar would, just like Netflix's international-only version, release the "Raw & Undekha" (uncensored) version for Indian viewers, the former streamer has made it official that they, too, will release the same. A grand digital premiere is set for June 4, at 7:00 pm IST, with official streaming commencing on June 5, 2026.

This extended version will have a total runtime of around 3 hours and 52 minutes — three minutes longer than the theatrical version. It's expected to include previously unseen graphic violence, extended action sequences (such as beheading scenes), and uncensored dialogues/expletives earlier muted or chopped (no pun intended).

JioHotstar currently holds the India-exclusive streaming rights, unlike Netflix, which premiered the first "Dhurandhar" everywhere. For international subscribers, Netflix has already begun streaming the Ranveer Singh blockbuster.

Meanwhile, "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" is wrapping up its theatrical run with about Rs 85-90 crore short of the total domestic net earnings of "Pushpa 2: The Rule". As of now, it has earned a little above Rs 1,144.56 crore. "Pushpa 2" currently holds the absolute record for the highest India net collection at Rs 1,234.10 crore.

Conversely, "Dhurandhar 2" leads the worldwide gross by over Rs 54 crore, currently at the second spot below the Rs 2000-crore milestone of "Dangal", an unattainable milestone considering that the Ranveer Singh movie is wrapping up its theatrical run. Strangely enough, "Dhurandhar 2" fared way better than "Dangal" in India. The Aamir Khan movie earned a net total of Rs 387 crore (a larger chunk of its lifetime gross came from overseas).

With a global haul of nearly Rs 1800 crore, "Dhurandhar 2" has, since its release on March 19, 2026, overtaken the lifetime global earnings of almost all big-time Indian blockbusters, including "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" (Rs 1,788 crore), "K.G.F: Chapter 2" (Rs 1,215 crore), and even its predecessor "Dhurandhar" (Rs 1,307 crore).
