'Bhooth Bangla' Day 11 Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar eyes next milestone after becoming commercial success

'Bhooth Bangla' received a boost during the second weekend, collecting Rs 10.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.5 crore on Sunday

Bhooth Bangla, which has become a commercial success in its second weekedn, is eying two new milestones this week in domestic and worldwide box office.

On Day 11, the Akshay Kumar starrer netted Rs 1.46 crore from 6,409 in domestic box office collection, as of 7 pm, reports Sacnilk. The total net collection in Indian box office now stands at Rs 114.86 crore while the gross domestic collection was pegged at Rs 136.7 crore. Going by the current momentum, Bhooth Bangla could comfortably surpass Rs 150 crore domestic milestone in just a few days.

On the other hand, the worldwide domestic collection of Bhooth Bangla stands at Rs 180.48 crore. This includes Rs 45.5 crore earned from overseas screens. The Priyadarshan directorial is expected to effortlessly enter the Rs 200 crore club before the weekend.

The horror comedy received a boost during the second weekend, collecting Rs 10.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.5 crore on Sunday. The film recorded sale of 57,000 tickets on Sunday compared to just 16,000 on Friday.

The paid preview of Bhooth Bangla raked in Rs 1.7 crore from 1,006 shows a day before opening with Rs 12.25 crore in net collection. The first weeked saw the horror comedy bagging Rs 19 crore on Saturday and Rs 23 crore on Sunday.

There was an expected slowdown during the week days, with the movie collecting Rs 6.75 crore on Day 4, Rs 8 crore on Day 5, Rs 6.15 crore on Day 6, Rs 5.5 crore on Day 7 and Rs 5.75 crore on Day 8. In total, Bhooth Bangla netted Rs 84.4 crore in the first seven days.

Bhooth Bangla is currently leading the overall charts, but Michael is showing potential in its first weekend in India, collecting Rs 14.8 crore so far in its first week. Dhurandhar 2, which is in its Week 6, minted Rs 7.95 crore.
