A while back, the lead star of one of Prime Video's most popular shows has already hinted that the next chapter in his adventures is gearing up for launch soon. In late March 2026, Alan Ritchson confirmed that the post-production phase of "Reacher" Season 4 is done. Prime Video is yet to announced an official release window and date.

The fourth season is based on "Gone Tomorrow," the 13th book in Lee Child's Jack Reacher book series. The story is set in New York city where Reacher, during a regular journey, encounters a potential female suicide bomber. When the interaction ends in tragedy, Reacher is troubled by guilt. When he learns of the woman's real profession, he takes matters into his own hands and begins to investigate.

The other lead cast members include Agnez Mo as the lead antagonist, Lila Hoth, an emotionless terrorist cell leader and Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette as Detective Jacob Merrick. Additional cast members comprise Sydelle Noel, Kevin Corrigan, Marc Blucas, and Kathleen Robertson.

The new season will reportedly feature around 30 fight sequences across eight episodes. A fifth season is also said to be in development.

It's not yet known whether Maria Sten will return as Reacher's frequent ally and private investigator Frances Neagley in Season 4. There is, however, another way to make the two meet.

Interestingly, Reacher will make an appearance in "Neagley", a spin-off featuring Neagley as the main character, which is not an adaptation of any books; it will be based on original material specifically written for the character. This show is also expected in 2026, probably before the premiere of "Reacher" Season 4.

Showrunner Nick Santora, who developed "Reacher", is co-creating the series with Nicholas Wootton, while Lee Child serves as an executive producer.
