After 35 days in theatres, "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" is extremely close to surpassing the worldwide gross of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion". It is highly likely to reach or exceed it within another week.

The lifetime worldwide gross of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" is approximately Rs 1,810.60 crore. The current worldwide gross of "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" stands at Rs 1,764.15 crore.

The Ranveer Singh movie needs roughly Rs 46.45 crore more to overtake "Baahubali 2" and become the second-highest-grossing Indian film of all time worldwide.

While the film is currently in its fifth week and has seen a dip in daily earnings, it remains in a strong position to bridge this gap. On Day 35, it netted approximately Rs 1.70 crore domestically and continues to perform steadily in international markets like the UK and North America.

Analysts observe that a strong surge over the coming weekend will be critical. Even with lower daily totals, the cumulative steady run — supported by a delayed OTT release until mid-May — gives it enough theatrical mileage to reach the mark.

The film is facing new competition from big ticket releases like "Bhooth Bangla" and "Ginny Weds Sunny 2", which has reduced its screen count. However, its historic momentum suggests it will likely claim the #2 spot globally by the end of its sixth week.

It now seems unlikely to secure the #1 spot currently held by Aamir Khan-starrer "Dangal" — the Rs 2000 crore mark — given the slowdown of daily earnings.

The India gross earnings of "Dhurandhar 2" is currently at Rs 1,342.41 crore and domestic nett at  Rs 1,121.52 crore.
