The Ranveer Singh blockbuster, directed by Aditya Dhar, is nowing aiming for the lifetime gross of Allu Arjun's "Pushpa 2" and Prabhas's "Baahubali 2"

After nearly a month's theatrical run, Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" has slowed down. It took in Rs 4.05 crore on Day 28 — a 42.6% drop from the previous day's Rs 7.05 crore — from 10,192 shows. It has now earned Rs 1,316.45 crore in terms of domestic gross and netted Rs 1,099.72 crore.

The worldwide gross now stands at Rs 1,733.20 crore, of which Rs 416.75 crore constitutes the overseas gross. In terms of this alone, the film has officially beaten the lifetime overseas gross of "Baahubali 2" (around 371 crore), "Pushpa 2" (Rs 271 – 292 crore), "RRR" (314 crore), Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" (406 crore) and "Pathaan" (412 crore).

As of now, it's trailing behind the lifetime gross of "Pushpa 2" (1,742 crore) and "Baahubali 2" (1,788 crore).

The overseas business of "Dhurandhar 2" is more impressive, considering it was not released in GCC or China. "Pushpa 2", "Jawan" and "Pathaan", on the other hand, were released in GCC, but not in China.

Domestically, only three Indian movies have crossed the Rs 1,300 crore mark in domestic figures as of April 16, 2026.  "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" was the first film to reach this milestone, finishing its run with an estimated domestic gross of Rs 1,416.9 crore to Rs 1,429 crore.

"Pushpa 2: The Rule" later surpassed these domestic records, earning approximately Rs 1,471 crore in gross collections across India.

"Dhurandhar 2" is now the fastest Indian film to hit the 1700-crore worldwide milestone (in 25 days) and the fastest Indian film to net 1000 crore in India.

Comparatively, "Pushpa 2" took 28 days to achieve the Rs 1700 crore milestone while "Baahubali 2" took over 30 days to hit the same mark.
