CinemaCon 2026: Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey', Tom Cruise's 'Digger' expected to be showcased

Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Doomsday" could also get a major showcase. Robert Downey Jr. is expected to attend to present a potential Dr Doom glimpse or a first-look glimpse of the film

Both Tom Cruise and Christopher Nolan are expected to appear at CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas to showcase their high-profile upcoming films. The event is scheduled to run from April 13 – 16, 2026, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. However, there is no official confirmation on this yet.

Among the other key presentations expected are Tom Cruise's much-anticipated "Digger" from director Alejandro González Iñárritu and Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey'. Cruise is slated to headline the Warner Bros. presentation on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. "Digger" is described as a "comedy of catastrophic proportions".

According to rumours, there is also buzz surrounding a potential announcement for "Top Gun 3" given his presence at the convention.

Nolan is expected at the Universal Pictures presentation on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to promote his epic fantasy action film. Industry figures such as Steven Spielberg (promoting "Disclosure Day"), Zendaya, Matt Damon, Timothée Chalamet, and Tom Holland are also expected to participate in various panels. Chalamet could bring a "Dune 3" presentation alongside Denis Villeneuve.

Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Doomsday" could also get a major showcase at CinemaCon 2026 during the Walt Disney Studios presentation on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

Robert Downey Jr. is reportedly expected to appear in person to introduce the first official footage as the villainous Doctor Doom.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the team might release a first-look trailer or "early look" sizzle reel for theatre owners and press.

Filmmakers Anthony and Joe Russo are also anticipated to share insights on the film's production, which wrapped in September 2025.
