Box office: ‘Dhurandhar2: The Revenge’ edging closer to Rs 1,000 crore domestic milestone with each passing day

On April 1, Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2) got past the Rs 900 crore India net mark, becoming the second film after Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule to achieve the feat. As things stand, Aditya Dhar's epic espionage thriller is on its way to Rs 1,000 crore domestic milestone. 

As of Day 15, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has so far collected Rs 2.24 Cr net, taking total India gross collections to Rs 1,104.11 Cr and total India net to Re 922.26 Cr so far, box office data tracking website Sacnilk said in a report. 

As things stand, its gross collection is behind Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (₹1,788 crore) and Pushpa 2: The Rule (₹1,742 crore). However, it has outperformed its predecessor Dhurandhar (₹1,307 crore) and also earned more than KGF Chapter 2 (₹1,215 crore). This means, there are greater heights for the Ranveer Singh starrer to scale moving forward. 

In another report, Sacnilk claimed that on April 1, Wednesday alone, Dhurandhar 2 managed a net business of Rs 20.10 Cr across 17,906 shows. It is a drop of 27.6% from day 13's net collection, which stood at Rs 27.75 Cr. After eleven days, Dhurandhar 2 earned Rs 1023 crore gross at the domestic box office and Rs 342 crore overseas. The India net box office collection currently stands at Rs 867 crore.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar and released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.  Released on March 19, the film features Ranveer Singh in the lead role alongside R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. It is a sequel to Dhar's 2025 directorial Dhurandhar.
