The makers of actor Tovino Thomas' much-anticipated film "Pallichattambi" has released its first teaser, revealing a high intensity political thriller. The team behind this period action movie, directed by Dijo Jose Anonty (known for "Queen" and "Jana Gana Mana"), also announced that its official theatrical release date is April 10.
Kayadu Lohar stars alongside Tovino in the female lead role. The film was shot in locations like Thodupuzha and Mysore, with other prominent cast members including Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, and Prashanth Alexander.
In "Pallichattambi", Tovino steps back into a retro setting, reminiscent of his role in "Ajayante Randaam Moshanam". Set in the 1950s and 60s, the film was written by S. Suresh Babu.
Produced by Naufal and Brijeesh under the banner of Worldwide Films, Pallichattambi also has Charan, Chanukya, Chaitanya, and Thanzeer co-producing through C Cube Bro Entertainments. The film's music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with cinematography handled by Tijo Tomy. Dileep Nath serves as the production designer.
Tovino, who was last seen in "Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra" opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan, has an exciting slate of upcoming projects, including Pallichattambi, Athiradi, and the highly anticipated sequel to "Lokah".
In addition, Tovino is set to star in "Athiradi", which features Basil Joseph and Vineeth Sreenivasan. Directed by Arun Anirudhan, who co-wrote the script for "Minnal Murali", the film is scheduled to release during Onam.
