The Aditya Dhar-directed Dhurandhar: The Revenge managed to earn ₹90.58 crore on its first day in theatres. The premiere shows on Wednesday collected ₹43 crore, taking the total net domestic collections to ₹133.58 crore.
As the second instalment of the spy-action thriller entered the 100 crore club, data revealed that the Hindi shows alone minted ₹87.59 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹1.89 crore in Telugu and ₹0.95 crore in Tamil.
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 managed to collect USD 2 million (around ₹18.6 crore) from Wednesday previews in the United States. It debuted in 725 theatres ahead of its 19 March release. In comparison, Kalki 2898 AD earned USD 3.9 million (₹36.4 crore) from its Wednesday previews in 2024, a report said.

It is not an overestimation to predict that Dhurandhar 2 could collect between USD 6 million and 9 million over its opening weekend, box office data-tracking websites claimed. As things stand, Dhurandhar 2 has grossed ₹159 crore globally. Domestically, the Ranveer Singh-starrer grossed ₹137.00 crore, Sacnilk claimed. It was not clear if these numbers include the sum earned from paid previews on 18 March.
The film, which was produced with a staggering budget matching part 1—both in the vicinity of ₹250–280 crore—had an impressive run in its preview collections alone.
R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi return alongside Singh for the sequel, which has been released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
