We have exactly a month to go for the premiere of another promising new Apple TV show, which comes from David E. Kelley, the prolific name behind many critically acclaimed shows that found homes in most of the big networks and streaming spaces. The man behind such diverse and audience-favourite shows as "Presumed Innocent", "The Undoing", and "Anatomy of a Scandal" is back with another limited series featuring some of Hollywood's biggest names.

Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nick Offerman are the lead stars of "Margo's Got Money Troubles", an adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel of the same name, with A24 as the production company. Apple will premiere the series on April 15 with the first three episodes, followed by one episode a week.

The show, which also marks Kelley's reunion with "Big Little Lies" star Nicole Kidman, was acquired by Apple, for which A24 is producing. Kidman also starred in Kelley’s “Nine Perfect Strangers” and “The Undoing”.

Fanning, who is an Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe award nominee, is involved as an executive producer along with Pfeiffer, Kidman, and actress Dakota Fanning.

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is touted as a "bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Nick Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them."

Other notable cast members include Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington.

Meanwhile, David E. Kelley is working on the second season of "Presumed Innocent", which will tackle a new legal case. "Superman" and "The Marvellous Mrs Maisel" actress Rachel Brosnahan plays the lead alongside Matthew Rhys ("The Beast in Me", "The Americans") and Jack Reynor ("Midsommar", "Sing Street").

The second season is said to be an adaptation of novelist Jo Murray's upcoming book "Dissection of a Murder", set to be published in July 2026.
