Dhurandhar 2 is going bonkers at the ticket windows and the advance booking is yet to open fully. For now, only paid previews have fully taken off and some parts of the country have opened select screens in pre-sales. Slated for release on 19th March 2026, Dhurandhar 2 will have paid previews on 18th March from 5 pm onwards across the country.
Initial trends are unprecedented and it is set to take create history with an expected nett gross of at least Rs 30 crore from paid previews alone. This could go even higher as there are seven days still left for the film's release. While the film is set to create havoc across all circuits, the surprising factor this time is regarding the gargantuan hype in the southern parts of India.
In Karnataka, Dhurandhar 2 is on course to set an all-time record for premieres. Currently, Kantara: Chapter 1 holds the top spot with Rs 3.75 crore from paid previews. Till now, Dhurandhar 2 has already reached Rs 2.85 crore and expect momentum to kick up considerably as the release date nears.
The top five films at the Karnataka Box Office have understandably always been films from South India. Pawan Kalyan's They Call Him OG (Rs 2.70 crore), Prabhas' The Raja Saab (Rs 2.62 crore), Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 (Rs 2.56 crore) are the other films right now with Dhurandhar 2 at the no.2 spot.
The postponement of Toxic has also come as a boost for Dhurandhar 2 because Karnataka is probably the only area where the Yash starrer could have proven to be a very difficult opponent.
