The hit Tamil teen romantic comedy "With Love", which released in theatres on February 6, is coming to streaming a month after its theatrical release.
Netflix has announced that the film, starring Abhishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, will premiere on March 6.
Directed by debutant Madhan, the film was praised as a delightful blend of romance, humor, and thought-provoking themes, which earned audience applause and earning around ₹36 crore at the box office. At the time of its release, netizens lauded the film for its "naturalistic" performances and "feel-good" energy, drawing comparisons to classics like "Autograph".
"With Love" follows Sathya (Abishan Jeevinth) and Monisha (Anaswara Rajan), two former schoolmates from Tiruchirappalli who reconnect unexpectedly through a blind date set up by Sathya’s sister. While Sathya is initially reluctant to the idea of an arranged marriage, Monisha proposes an unconventional plan: they track down their old school crushes to gain closure for the feelings they never expressed. This heartfelt journey brings the two closer, with unexpected romantic sparks flying along the way.
Anaswara Rajan has built a strong presence in the South Indian film industry with notable performances in Malayalam cinema, beginning with her breakthrough in "Thanneer Mathan Dinangal" through "Super Sharanya" and most recently "Rekhachithram". In Tamil, she will be seen next in Selvaraghavan's sequel to "7/G Rainbow Colony".
