Chiranjeevi's action-comedy Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (2026) is set to have its streaming release soon nearly a month after its theatrical release.  The Anil Ravipudi directorial will land on OTT on February 11 on Zee5.

The film follows an NSG officer Shankara Vara Prasad (Chiranjeevi) trying to find a way to get back to his estranged wife, an affluent businesswoman (Nayanthara) as a result of a divorce triggered by ego clashes and misunderstandings, for which her father (Sachin Khedekar) is mainly responsible. When he comes across an opportunity in the form of a protection detail, he takes on the assignment hoping to repair fractured bonds and embark on a fresh journey with his family.

Other cast members include Catherine Tresa and an extended cameo by Venkatesh Daggubati as a character from Prasad's past and someone who could make things complicated for the latter's attempts to reclaim his family.

Released in theatres on 12 January 2026, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has reportedly already crossed ₹200 crore at the Indian box office and over ₹300 crore worldwide. It met with mixed reviews from critics who praised Chiranjeevi's performance and comic timing but found the overall writing underwhelming.

With a runtime of 165 minutes, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has Sameer Reddy on the camera, Tammiraju handling editing duties and Bheems Ceciroleo as the composer.

It is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banners Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.
