Social media can be an outrageous place, especially for celebrities and sometimes, even for their family. Ajith Kumar is arguably among the biggest stars in Tamil Nadu and has been a respected figure for close to three decades. The re-release of his 2011 blockbuster Mankatha happened on last Friday (January 23) and the film has been a smash hit once again.
The re-release success has infused fresh energy into Ajith's fans who have been discussing among themselves about the kind of choices he should be making going forward. This is a common trend for fans of any actor on social media but the fun part is that one of the actor's fans tried a different method to get the message through.
Ajith has two brothers, Anil and Anup, both of whom are highly successful in their respective careers. Anil is an IIT Madras graduate who is also a CEO of an establishment called Jodi365, a matchmaking website based in Chennai. Anil and Anup both prefer to stay away from the limelight of being a superstar's brothers, which is no surprise given that Ajith himself prefers to maintain a low-profile generally.

'Sir, please convince Ajith Sir never to make a movie with Siruthai Siva ever again," pleaded a fan in the comments section of Anil's Instagram post.
Interestingly, Ajith's collaborations with Siruthai Siva have mostly been box office successes except the 2017 release Vivegam. However, a large section of his fans feel that Ajith's swagger and style hasn't been used well by Siva, and feel that the duo shouldn't make a film again together. Anil's response to this message was equally light-hearted but firm.
"What else? Would you like an order of fries with that?", wrote Anil.
"Seriously, though: I appreciate the passion that fans have for movies and sports, but I am not going to interfere in my brother's decisions just as he respectfully doesn't interfere in mine."
