We have the first look at the third season of Apple TV's comedy-drama Shrinking. The streamer revealed the first stills and poster for the new season, which sees Jason Segel and Harrison Ford returning in the roles that made the show an audience favourite.

The third season, created by Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein, and Jason Segel, will premiere on January 28, 2026, with a one-hour episode, followed by weekly episodes until the Season finale on April 8, 2026.

New additions to the cast include Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox, in addition to the return of guest stars Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, and Cobie Smulders.

The show centres on the events in the life of a therapist who recently lost his wife, the impact of which leads him to change his working method: He goes against his training ethics and tells his patients exactly what he thinks, which triggers changes in himself and the people he meets.

In an earlier interview with RadioTimes, Segel said the seasons have been designed to be looked at as "one whole story."

"You really do have to approach it… they always say 'like a movie', but just like a story. There needs to be a beginning and an end, and this is the arc through," he added.

The series was well-received by both critics and audiences. It was recognised in the awards season, with the first season getting two nominations at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Segel and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Williams. Moreover, the second season was named one of the top ten television shows by the American Film Institute.
