Dhurandhar is going bonkers at the domestic box office and is on track to set new benchmark for Bollywood films. As reported earlier, it became the first Hindi film ever to register Rs 25 crore nett or above on its second Friday and the Ranveer Singh-starrer ended with astounding collections of Rs 30 crore nett.
On its ninth day, Dhurandhar has hit top gear and with weekend ticket rates also in play, the box office is set to witness another unprecedented day at the ticket counters. Right from the morning shows, the occupancy levels have doubled for Dhurandhar and it is set to a monstrous day.
Early estimates suggest an easy Rs 40 crore nett for the film and this is in a year when Bollywood films have barely got to this figure even on their opening day. In fact, if the momentum continues it could even zoom past Rs 45 crore nett and also touch the miracle mark of Rs 50 crore nett.

The tenth day will surely breach Rs 50 crore nett and it is only a question of how much more it can collect. Can it touch Rs 55 crore nett or go past Rs 60 crore nett? Sky is the limit with the film in 'God mode' at the box office. What is certain is that Pushpa 2's all-time second weekend record is set to be crushed.
The nine-day estimates for Dhurandhar in India are around Rs 250-255 crore nett and it will comfortably race past Rs 300 crore nett in its second weekend. The speed at which it is going, all major lifetime records in Bollywood are in danger and the only challenge for now is whether it can breach Pushpa 2's lifetime Hindi version record.
