On Monday, Instagram users woke up to a pleasant image on their feed — Hrithik Roshan and Jackie Chan! No, it's not for a movie (but wouldn't it be cool if that happened?). The two happened to have run into each other while Hrithik was enjoying his vacation in the U.S. with partner Saba Azad.
Hrithik capationed the post: "Fancy meeting you here sir @jackiechan My broken bones look up to your broken bones. Forever and always.”
Meanwhile, Hrithik is also gearing up to begin filming his directorial debut Krrish 4. Director Rakesh Roshan had earlier announced that he was stepping away from directing the fourth instalment of the 'Krrish' superhero franchise, which has the backing of Yash Raj Films (YRF) in association with Rakesh Roshan's Filmkraft Productions.
Earlier, Rakesh Roshan revealed that the project is in the pre-production phase and they were waiting to have a clear idea on the film's overall budget to start filming, with a plan to get it released in 2027. “The work is going on all in full swing. We are going to start the shoot of the film by the middle of next year. This is because the pre-production is much more extensive in this film. Hence, we have to be well-prepared before we go on floors,” he said then.
Hrithik also recently launched his production house HRX Films, which announced their maiden production, Storm, a web series in a partnership with Amazon Prime Video. Parvathy Thiruvothu will play the lead in the series co-starring Alaya F, Srishti Srivastava, Rama Sharma and Saba Azad. Ajit Pal Singh, who directed the acclaimed SonyLIV crime series Tabbar, is helming it, with Hrithik strongly involved in the script and production aspects.
Chan was last seen in the action thriller The Shadow's Edge, released in Hong Kong last month.
