Famous Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, 35, died after a severe road accident on September 27. Jawanda, who fell into a coma after the accident, was on life support and intensive care for nearly 10 days for his injuries.

The artist had suffered from severe head and spinal cord injuries after his motorcycle collided with a stray cow in the middle of the road.

According to the doctors, Jawanda had shown minimal brain activity and no significant improvement in his health after the accident.

Hailing from Sector 71, Mohali, Jawanda was known for his songs, including "Suname," "Kamla," "Mera Dil," and "Sardari." He had also acted in films such as Jind Jaan Mindo Taseeldarni, and Kaka Ji.

He debuted in 2014. with the single Munda Like Me. He rose to fame for his melodious singing and lyrics that celebrate Punjabi culture. He has over 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
