Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1, which has collected Rs 427.5 crore worldwide in six days, has entered Rs 300 crore club in domestic box office collection on Day 7, according to Sacnilk.
The Hindi collection of the Rishab Shetty movie is now earning in double digits, collecting a net Rs 11 crore on Day 6. The total Hindi collection stood at Rs 93 crore in six days and is expected to cross Rs 100 crore on Day 7.
Coming to net domestic collection in Kannada, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 earned Rs 89.35 crore in six days. The Telugu version raked in Rs 57.4 crore while Tamil minted Rs 27.25 crore and Malayalam Rs 23 crore.
The gross collection at Karnataka box office also crossed Rs 100 crore on Day 6. Industry analysts estimate that the movie could easily mint Rs 200 crore in the state in the coming week.
If this happens, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 will be the highest grosser in Karnataka, beating Rs 183.6 crore collected by the previous Kantara instalment and Rs 183 crore collected by KGF Chapter 2. Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 is expected to surpass the Rs 129 crore gross collection of Baahubali 2 at the Karnataka box office in the coming days.
With Rs 427.5 crore collection worldwide, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 is now the second highest grossing Kannada film. KGF Chapter 2 leads the list with Rs 1,250 crore worldwide.
