A case has been registered against Tollywood actress Dimple Hayathi and her husband by the Film Nagar police in Hyderabad after their househelp lodged a complaint against them.
In a statement to the police, The complainant accused them of harassment, assault, and abuse.
According to reports, Priyanka Bibar, 22, said that she was subjected to humiliation ever since she joined them. She said she was denied proper food, verbally abused, and insulted. She said that they once told her, "Your life is not even equal to my shoes."
A dispute broke out on September 29. Priyanka alleged that Dimple and her husband, David, abused her and threatened to kill her parents. When she tried to record the dispute, David snatched her phone, smashed it, and then tried to assault her.
Priyanka said that her clothes were torn during the dispute. After a narrow escape, she approached the police with the help of an agent. The househelp also said that they made an attempt to make her film nude videos.

Dimple Haythi works predominantly in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. The actress, who is 27 years old, is from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. She was born to a Tamil father and a Telugu mother.She began her career at the age of 19 by debuting in the Telugu film Gulf in 2017.
