Pawan Kalyan is set to record his biggest opening as his upcoming gangster movie, They Call Him OG, has already seen remarkable advance bookings.

The worldwide advance bookings has already crossed Rs 50 crore for the opening day. In India alone, They Call Him OG has collected Rs 23 crore in advance bookings while overseas bookings raked in more than Rs 27 crore ($3 million).

The feat was achieved as They Call Him OG has one more day left for release. Industry trackers believe that the Pawan Kalyan starrer will comfortably collect Rs 100 crore on the opening day, which is September 25.

They Call Him OG has already broken records in North America, which has a strong Telugu diaspora. The advance bookings have already crossed Rs 21 crore for the premieres.

The trailer of They Call Him OG promises an action-packed gangster drama as Pawan Kalyan's Ojas Gambheera alias OG and Emraan Hashmi's Omi Bhau are set for a high-octane clash in the movie. The film also stars Priyanka Mohan, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy and Arjun Das.

However, the film faces hurdles overseas, including Europe and the US, due to delay in delivering content. They Call Him OG's European distributor 4 Seasons Creations claimed that they are struggling with ‘careless content delivery delays’.

"On one hand, we hear repeated complaints that audiences are not coming to theatres. But how can they, when even for a massive, hyped titles like OG, content is delivered at the last possible minute risking premieres being cancelled? This isn’t distribution. This is torture."

Content delay has led to cancelling of Tamil screening of They Call Him OG. US-Canada distributor Prathyangira Cinemas the Tamil version will not be released in North America due "unavoidable content delays". "We sincerely regret the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and continued support," they said, adding that the Telugu and Hindi shows will be screened across the region as planned.
