The 77th edition of the Primetime Emmy Awards, the biggest TV awards hosted in the US, saw some of the most beloved shows from various streaming platforms take home well-deserved trophies, most notably in the directing and acting categories.

Shows such as Adolescence, The Studio and The Pitt were among the shows that dominated the awards.

The ceremony saw some surprising snubs too. Colin Farrell, who was expected to win for The Penguin in Best Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series, was surpassed by Stephen Graham, for Adolescence in the same category.
