Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 saw LGBTQ couple Adhila Nasarin and Fathima Noora joining other contestants. The housemates were largely supportive of the couple until wildcard contestants entered the BBMS house.

Among the wildcards in BBMS7, Lakshmi and Mastani have been vocal against the sexuality of Adhila and Noora, who joined the show as a couple. In a recent episode, Lakshmi said that Adhila and Noora are not someone who can be invited to her home.

However, Adhila and Noora were dumbstruck by the disturbing comments and did not respond to Lakshmi. Later, Mastani also joined Lakshmi in slamming the sexuality of Adhila and Noora.

On Saturday, Asianet, which airs Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7, released a promo showing Mohanlal returning for the weekend. He asks Lakshmi and Mastani about their comments.

To this, Lakshmi says she cannot personally accept with the couple's sexuality. Mohanlal then lashes out at Lakshmi, saying Adhila and Noora do not live at her expense. He goes on to says that he would invite both of them to his home with open heart.

Mastani then says she cannot agree with normalising the LGBTQ culture in the society.

Mohanlal then tells both Lakshmi and Mastani that no one else in the house has any issues with the couple's sexuality. "If you continue making such comments, you can leave the show," Mohanlal warns the duo.

How did Adhila and Noora meet?

Adhila and Noora met while studying in Class 12 in Saudi Arabia. Their friendship soon turned into romance. Their families send them to the same college in Kozhikode.

Later, their family came to know about their relationship and opposed their union due to religious reasons. They stopped the girls from going to the same college, following which they left home.

Adhila's family assaulted her physically after she refused to back down while Noora's family lodged a police complaint against Adhila for abducting thier daughter.

After Noora was forcibly taken home, Adhila moved Kerala High Court and filed a habeas corpus plea, alleging her partner was forced to stay at home. She also posted a livestream on social media.

The court later allowed the two women to live together, observing that they have taken an informed choice.
