'Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra' box office day 7 collection: Dulquer Salmaan-backed cameo-rich flick crosses Rs 40 crore-mark

'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' is continuing its reign as the most successful Mollywood release of this Onam season, despite the presence of Fahadh Faasil's 'Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira' and Mohanlal's 'Hridayapoorvam'.

After managing a Rs 39.25 crore India net collection in six days, 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' earned another Rs 1.8 crore until the afternoon domestically on its seventh day across all languages. This took the net domestic collection of the fantasy-action flick to Rs 41.05 crore, Sacnilk showed.

With the data from post-office-hour shows to come in, the Mollywood Onam release is certain to earn well over Rs 2 crore on Wednesday. The worldwide collection of the Dominic Arun directorial featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen has already crossed Rs 74.18 crore, another report said. It has surpassed ‘Alappuzha Gymkhana’, also starring Naslen, to become the third-highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025 worldwide. ‘Alappuzha Gymkhana’, a coming-of-age sports drama, had grossed Rs 72.23 crore. Earlier, the four-day worldwide gross of the film stood at approximately Rs 65.50 crore, making it the third-highest Mollywood opening weekend of all time, behind 'Empuraan' and 'Thudarum'.

'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' net India collection:

'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' opened on Thursday with Rs 2.7 crore across India. On Day 2 (Friday), it collected Rs 4 crore, including Rs 3.65 crore from Malayalam and Rs 0.35 crore from Telugu. On Saturday, the first weekend since its release, it managed Rs 7.6 crore, with Rs 5.8 crore from Malayalam, Rs 0.6 crore from Tamil, and Rs 1.2 crore from Telugu. On Day 4 (Sunday), the film saw its highest earnings of Rs 10.1 crore, with Rs 7.4 crore from Malayalam, Rs 1.1 crore from Tamil, and Rs 1.6 crore from Telugu.

The momentum continued into Day 5 (Monday), when it collected Rs 7.2 crore, split as Rs 5.6 crore from Malayalam, Rs 0.75 crore from Tamil, and Rs 0.85 crore from Telugu. Finally, on Day 6 (Tuesday), it earned Rs 7.65 crore, with Rs 5.7 crore from Malayalam, Rs 0.85 crore from Tamil, and Rs 1.1 crore from Telugu.

Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra has performed better than Mohanlal's Onam offering 'Hridayapoorvam'. As of Tuesday, the movie minted Rs 16.25 crore. The highest it collected in a single day was Rs 3.7 crore on Sunday. It received a bleak response on Monday, with a daily collection dipping to Rs 1.9 crore.

On the other hand, Param Sundari, which was released on Friday, collected Rs 34.25 crore as of Tuesday, 10 pm.
