Simply put, ‘Lokah’ earned ₹0.07 crore more than ‘Hridayapoorvam’ in two days.

The fantasy-action drama had collected a considerable ₹2.7 crore on its opening day and the good performance from the morning shows has taken its net domestic collection to ₹3.77 crore, the website showed. The Kalyani Priyadarshan-Naslen starrer had moderate takers in movie screens outside Kerala, including those in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.

Both 'Hridayapoorvam' and 'Lokah' opened to positive reviews and had a decent opening day on August 28. The presence of Mohanlal in a Sathyan Anthikad directorial gave the family entertainer a slight edge on the opening day, but Dominic Arun's ambitious movie seems to have gained the lost ground on day two following positive reviews.

'Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra' performed better in the evening shows on Thursday with 42.51 per cent occupancy, while it was 24.95 per cent in morning shows and 28.32 per cent in afternoon shows. Hridayapoorvam also did slightly better in the evening shows with 35.74 per cent occupancy compared to 26.29 per cent in morning shows and 24.80 per cent in afternoon shows.
