As reported by Pinkvilla, YRF head Aditya Chopra has shown his extensive involvement in curating the new instalment, Dhoom 4. The Dhoom franchise, renowned for its high-octane and action-packed narratives, features A-listed actors as the formidable antagonists. From John Abraham in the original to Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan in later editions, the franchise has consistently raised the bar. Now with Kapoor stepping in, the movie promises to take the stakes higher than ever. The source added, “Ranbir is the apt choice for Dhoom 4, and the character is also designed keeping his aura and personality in mind. The new Dhoom film is being designed keeping the global action standards in mind, and the visual palette, and also storytelling will be very different from the already established YRF Spy Universe”.

Further details on the rest of the cast remain under wraps, including the actors set to take on the iconic roles of police officers Jai and Ali—originally portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. YRF reportedly aims to take Dhoom 4 on the floors by April 2026, with makers eyeing a 2027 theatrical release.
