Famed for her work on the critically acclaimed TV series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Mexican director Patricia Riggen expressed enthusiasm in working with Indian actors for a possible sequel to her latest film G20, a tense political action thriller, reports the Times of India.

Riggen, who directed the high-octane first season of Jack Ryan with John Krasinski in the lead, now brings that action to G20, with Viola Davis taking the spotlight as US President Danielle Sutton, who is faced with a terrorist situation at a G20 summit. The film also stars Antony Starr, famed for his role as Homelander in the TV series The Boys.

However, for Riggen, having a female action star as the lead was just as much of a priority, due to which she had insisted that the lead character be a strong-willed female President.

"[Viola Davis] plays the President of the United States which is a really wonderful thing to imagine and she's also a really good action figure... What surprised me more is not how amazing she is as an actor because she has Oscars and Emmys, but how good she is at the fights," she revealed in the interview with Etimes.

When asked about a possible sequel, she was enthusiastic about filming one set in India, should the film do well here. If G20: India were to happen, she eagerly said she would love to cast Shah Rukh Khan for it. If it happens, this would be the beloved Indian superstar's first role in Hollywood. “You guys have the best actors, you have the most amazing, good-looking, versatile actors... so I would get Shah Rukh Khan for sure," she added.

G20 is scheduled for a worldwide release via Amazon Prime on April 10.
