Khushi Kapoor has been making a name for herself in the Bollywood film industry. The daughter of Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi made her big debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies in 2023. Although the film did not receive positive critical response, it put young Khushi on the industry roaster. Now, during a promotional event for her upcoming film Loveyapa, the 24-year-old revealed what she would change about The Archies.

Speaking to Indian Express, she said, “Probably… marketing-wise, it had to be made clear that the film is catering to a younger audience. I don’t want to particularly change anything, and even I believe the film was for a really young audience. In fact, the people who enjoyed it the most were the ones who were below the age of 16. Plus, I feel like everything doesn’t have to be made for everyone,”
Appreciating the opportunity she received, Khushi said, “But yeah, I don’t regret the film at all. I learnt everything from the film. I owe everything to Zoya, and I have a deep connection with the film and people around it.”
Khushi will make her big screen debut alongside Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Love Today, Loveyapa. The story follows lovers who are asked to swap their phones for 24 hours. Their lives unravel when they each uncover hidden secrets – from texting random girls on Tinder to one-sided affection shared by a friend. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film also stars Ashutosh Rana, and Kiku Sharda. The film is scheduled to hit all theatres on February 7.
