Excitement has started to brew among fans as Prabhas’ first look poster of his character from Kannappa will be released soon. According to the film’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, the poster will release on Monday, February 3.
The announcement poster features a close-up of Prabhas’ Nandi, his eyes highlighted through the gap of a trishul(trident). The text on the poster reads: “First look of the rebel star on 3rd Feb 2025”.
The buzz surrounding the film has only heightened fans' excitement, one user commenting, “can’t wait!!!,” while another wrote, “2025 biggest hit loading...”.
The announcement comes a week after Akshay Kumar’s character poster as Lord Shiva was revealed for the upcoming Mukesh Kumar Singh directorial.
Prabhas, who made his debut in the 2002 film Eeswar, last appeared on the big screen in Kalki 2898 AD (2024). The film was a massive hit, minting over Rs 1100 crore, second only to Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Kannappa is a mythological film that stars Vishnu Manchu in the titular role as a loyal devotee of Lord Shiva. Produced under the 24 Frames Factory banner, the teaser for the film was released in 2024 at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, building the anticipation of the release.
