David Warner's love for Telugu cinema is no secret. The Australian batter, who is currently in India for the IPL, has taken it to the next level. Warner on Friday via Instagram revealed an advertisement in which he is sharing the screen with noted Telugu director S.S. Rajamouli -- then man iconic blockbusters including Baahubali 1 and 2 and RRR.

CRED UPI's ad unfolds with the superhit director dialling Warner to ask for match tickets at a discount. Since Rajamouli doesn't have CRED UPI, the Australian demands a role in the director's next in return for fulfilling the demand.

Rajamouli imagines Warner showing up with a cricket bat instead of a sword to the sets of a war scene, smashing the camera with a mace and shattering a dance number with his poor timings, among other goof-ups. Charging at his enemies on the battlefield, dodging arrows with his sword, we see the Baahubali-like Warner asking the director for a kangaroo to hop on... Unwilling to take the risk, Rajamouli decides to become a CRED UPI user instead.

"Warner ante cricketer anukuntiva? actorrr" David Warner jotted on Instagram alongside the video. The post went viral instantly and garnered over 7 lakh reactions during the time of compiling this report. Meanwhile, over 527.7K people viewed the ad on Rajamouli's X (formerly Twitter) and managed over 5K reposts.

Interestingly, David Warner is in action today at Lucknow where his IPL side Delhi Capitals take on LSG.
