Missing actor Cole Brings Plenty found dead in forest

Actor Cole Brings Plenty, who went missing on March 31, has been found dead in a forest area in Kansas on Friday. The 27-year-old actor is a star on 1923, a spin-off of the series, Yellowstone. When the actor went missing, his uncle Bo Brings Plenty, shared a missing poster on his Instagram handle. 

After Cole's death was confirmed, Moses shared a post on Instagram, a statement from Cole's family. It read, “We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole. We would also like to thank everyone who came to walk beside us as we searched for my son and provided the resources we needed to expand our search areas. I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole’s heart and loved him. During this incredibly difficult time, we ask for privacy as we process our grief and figure out how we move forward.”

Moses starred in the series Yellowstone, which also starred Luke Grimes and Kevin Costner. 1923, which was released in 2023, also stars Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford. According to a post by the Lawrence Police Department, Cole was a suspect in a domestic violence dispute. According to the post, they had arrived at an apartment in Lawrence after receiving an alert of a woman screaming for help. The suspect fled before the officers arrived. Moses, on Thursday, shared another missing poster of Cole. He wrote that it isn't clear whether Cole was really involved in the incident involving domestic violence.

Cole has appeared in other series like “Into the Wild Frontier” and “The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.”
