Emraan Hashmi shares first look from 'They Call Him OG' on his birthday

The movie will mark Hashmi's Telegu debut

Emraan Hashmi, who was recently seen in Ae Watan Mere Watan, turned is celebrating his 45 today. The actor, who shared his look from the film, They Call Him OG. Hashmi plays Omi Bhau, a gangster from Mumbai in the movie directed by Sujeeth. The movie stars Pawan Kalyan, Priyanka Mohan, Prakash Raj and Arjun Das. 

The movie will mark Hashmi's Telegu debut. The poster shows a side profile of the actor smoking a beedi. He is seen sporting a scraggly beard and tattoos on his fingers. The character is also seen wearing a gold bracelet and sporting a black shirt. They Call Him OG is a highly anticipated film in the South. 

Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Gambheera, Suna hai tu Bambai Aa raha hai. Vaada karta hoon : hum dono mein se kisi ek ka sar zaroor katega.” Hashmi shared a Telegu version of the poster too. The movie is expected to be released in September.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Hashmi shared a special moment with paparazzi, by cutting cakes with them. Hashmi will also star in G2, a sequel to the 2018 spy drama, Goodachari, directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. Goodachari had Adivi Sesh in the lead role.
