The teaser of Vedaa is out. Actor John Abraham shared the same on his Instagram timeline today. The teaser begins with actor Sharvari Wagh stating her name. “My name is Vedaa.. surname, status, identity… No one cares. To most, we are like dirt beneath the soles of their feet... But I don’t need a protector,” she says.
The scene begins with Vedaa training to be a professional boxer. The movie starring John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee, has them pitted against each other. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the movie also features Tamannaah Bhatia. The movie promises to be an action-packed entertainer.
Banerjee plays the antagonist in the film, where Sharvari's character goes all out to fight against injustice. The teaser indicates that John Abraham becomes her aide in fighting the system. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, the actor wrote, “Maro naam Vedaa…Ye waqt anyaay sehneka nahin, uske khilaaf ladne ka hai! Kya aap taiyyar hain?”
The movie will be released on July 12. Action hero John Abraham was last seen as an antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, director Nikkhil Advani wrote, “Call me an ever-hopeful optimist but even I believe that. So when I read the horrific incident that Vedaa is based on, I knew that it had to be told. And tell it so that as many people as possible could see it.
