Elvish Yadav, winner of season 2 of Bigg Boss OTT, who was arrested on Sunday, has admitted to supplying snake venom at rave parties. The YouTuber had earlier denied the charges and said he was being framed in the case, which was filed under the Wild Life Protection Act.

Yadav also said he knew the five people, who were arrested in the same case last year. And added that he had met them at several parties.

Yadav, who was sent to a 14-day judicial custody yesterday, will now face new charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Yadav already faces charges under the Wild Life Protection Act. Section 29 is being levelled against him too, which levies, involves drug-related conspiracies like buying and selling drugs.

In November 2023, a rave party was raided after a tip-off that snake venom was being used at the party for intoxication. Five accused in the case, who were snake charmers, were arrested. The sixth accused was Elvish Yadav. The officials found nine snakes and snake venom from the party.

After being accused of being-involved in the case, Yadav stayed off the radar for a while. He then posted videos saying that he is innocent.
